About The Owner & Operator
Rob Miller — Owner/Operator
Rob is the owner and operator of Wilmington Watchdog. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran with more than 30 years of local law-enforcement and public-safety experience, he has served with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, the Wrightsville Beach Police Department, and most recently, Bald Head Island Public Safety, where he also served as a firefighter and EMT.
Throughout his career, Rob has built a reputation on preparation, accountability, attention to detail, and service to others. His extensive experience throughout Wilmington and the surrounding coastal communities has given him a firsthand understanding of the unique concerns facing local homeowners, from severe weather and extended vacancies to the challenges of maintaining a seasonal or second home from a distance.
Rob founded Wilmington Watchdog to give homeowners, seasonal residents, and real estate professionals a dependable local resource when they cannot be at the property themselves. He approaches every home with the same care, vigilance, and respect he has demonstrated throughout his public-service career. For Rob, home watch is more than checking a property, it is about protecting what matters, identifying concerns early, communicating clearly, and giving every client confidence that a trusted local professional is looking out for their home.
